State and county population census counts, estimates, and projections by age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin are published in five-year increments to the year 2045 in Florida Population Studies: Population Projections by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin for Florida and Its Counties. Age groups include: 0–4, 5–17, 18–24, 25–54, 55–64, 65–79, and 80+. Racial/ethnic categories include: All races, non-Hispanic white, non-Hispanic black, and Hispanic.

Detailed state and county population census counts, estimates, and projections for five-year age groups for seven racial/ethnic categories are published in five-year increments to the year 2045 in Detailed Population Projections by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin for Florida and Its Counties. Age groups include: 0–4, 5–9, 10–14, 15–19, 15–17, 18–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, and 85 and over. Racial/ethnic categories include: All races, non-Hispanic white, non-Hispanic black, Hispanic, white, black, and non-white.

BEBR produces and publishes state- and county-level household data as part of its Florida Population Studies: Number of Households and Average Household Size in Florida. This four-page bulletin features a methodology and trend discussion along with a tabular presentation of the number of households and average household size for the current year. Comparative census data from the 2000 and 2010 censuses conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau are also provided.

The Florida Population Studies series is comprised of three annual bulletins: Number of Households and Average Household Size in Florida; Projections of Florida Population by County; and Population Projections by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin for Florida and Its Counties.

The BEBR estimates and projections are normally released as follows:

• Florida Estimates of Population: mid to late October (Table 1. Estimates of Population by County and City in Florida).
• Florida Estimates of Population: late December/early January (publication and additional tables).
• Florida Number of Households and Average Household Size: late December/early January.
• Florida County Population Projections: release date depends on scheduling of the Demographic Estimating Conference (DEC) supporting the General Appropriations Act (http://edr.state.fl.us/Content/conferences/population/index.cfm); the release date is 60 days following the DEC (usually in April).
• Florida Population Projections by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin: late June/early July.

All of your answers are confidential. The center considers that protecting people's privacy is an essential part of our operation. The responses you provide will not be linked to your name in any published reports.

We understand how busy life can be, so we work around your schedule. Just let us know when you are available. The center is open: Monday-Friday 9am-9pm. Saturday 12-6pm. Sunday 3-9pm.
We don’t have to do the survey all at once; we can pick up where you left off another time.

We believe in your right to know. The interviewer can tell you who is sponsoring the study, how long the survey will take and what the data will be used for. You can check our website or call our toll free number, 1-888-536-2434.

The National Do Not Call Registry does not apply to telephone surveyors. We are not restricted by this list because we are not trying to sell anything.
